Principal State Law Governing the Caspar South Water District

The Caspar South Water District (CSWD) was formed in 1978 pursuant to California Water Code §34000 et seq. in order to manage the collection, treatment and disposal of sewage within portions of the 5 subdivisions that make up the Caspar South neighborhood.  While many districts in California formed under the Water Code produce, store and distribute water for irrigation, domestic, industrial and municipal purposes, CSWD does not provide such services within the District's boundaries (water distribution is provided by the Caspar South Service Company (CSSC), a separate, non-profit mutual benefit corporation).
