The Caspar South Water District is governed by a 5-member board of directors. Members are elected to the Board by the property owners within the boundaries of the Caspar South Water District. (It should be noted that when there are insufficient candidates running for vacant or expiring Board seats at election time, an election is not held and the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors appoints candidates to the Board).
There are currently 3 members on the Board of Directors (two positions are vacant), serving 4-year, staggered terms of office:
Caspar South Water District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Caspar South Water District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
